Happy Friday All!
Hope it's been a good week for you. We've been busy working away behind the scenes at Whimsy to bring you all more fun digital images and a new rubber stamp release. The digital release will be held on Monday, November 1st and then on the 10th we'll be releasing more new rubber and a couple of other fun things too! Stay tuned for more details in the coming days!
Today is new challenge day over at Stamp Something and Just Magnolia. And this week I have decided to combine these challenges and make one card. The challenge at SS is to Stamp Something with Some Pink and then at JM we have a fabby sketch by Dawny P! So these were easy to use together and you can too, just remember you need to include a Magnolia image on your project.
On this card I've used the sketch and some BG Eskimo Kisses papers. I've gone with a pink and red theme and colored my sweet Tilda with Copics then cut her out and adhered her to the winter scene I created with a Magnolia background stamp and some glitter and faux snow. I've added flocking to Tilda as well. I embellished with brads, ribbon, a charm, and some flowers. The sentiments are Whimsy Holiday Tickets.
This card also fits the challenges at:
ABC: G is for Glitter
Bee Crafty: Christmas
Totally Gorjuss: Sparkle
Winter Wonderland: Recipe
Thanks so much for coming on by today. If you're up for a challenge, please join us at SS and JM for some fun and chance at prizes. Have a great weekend!

Treats from Santa
Hi All and Happy Tuesday!
Boy another week in full swing and here I am only getting to post this card at 8 o'clock at night. Hope you've had a good couple of days. The weather is strangely warm here, so we had some time outside today, but it's looking like rain for tomorrow. So maybe a bit more crafting in my future. Hope it's nice where ever you are.
Today I wanted to share a card I made using the new Whimsy Stamps rubber designs Holiday Wish List and Santa's Midnight Snack. These stamps were designed by Ann Vento and Crissy Armstrong and are both available now at Whimsy.
I used some Jovial BG papers for this card and then distressed the edges. The image was colored with Copics and then highlighted with some glitter accents. I've added the Wish List behind the image a bit and also distressed that layer. I've finished with some felt snowflakes and sticky gems. I just got 2 new Copics, R46 and R59 and I have to say, I love them and now love coloring red! They work so well together. If you don't already have these, I would say they are a must!
This card also fits over at:
Sentimental Sundays: Distressing
Charisma Cardz: Vintage
Stampavie and More: Christmas
Papertake Weekly: Sparkly
Cupcake Craft: Sweet Treats
Thanks for dropping by tonight. Hope you sleep well! See you soon!

Think Pink and Digital Fun
Happy Friday All!
Wow, another week already over! Time sure is flying on by, can you believe that the end of October is almost here. Hope you have a great weekend.
Today is new challenge day over at Just Magnolia and Stamp Something. First up is my JM card with our challenge theme of Think Pink with the option of some flowers too. Be sure to include a Magnolia image when entering our challenges to be eligible for any prizes. This week our sponsor is Wild Orchid Crafts.
I've used this adorable new Sneaky Tilda on my holiday themed pink card. The papers are BG Eskimo Kisses and I've used some white and embossed on snowflakes. I also sprayed all the white layers with Glimmer Mist. The sketch is from this week's Magnolia Down Under challenge. I colored Tilda with Copics and then cut her out and mounted her on foam tape over an embossed circle frame. I've embellished with ribbon, pearls, a snowflake charm, and beautiful flowers from WOC.
This card also fits over at:
Totally Gorjuss: Pink
Allsorts: BINGO- pearls, mist/stickles, ribbon
Next up is my Stamp Something card with our theme this week of Go Digital! That's right another one of our monthly digi challenges meaning the challenge is pretty much anything goes as long as you use a digital product. You can use a digital image or papers or create a digital scrap book layout! We have a bunch of fab sponsors this week with multiple chances to win prizes too!
I chose to make a holiday card with this sweet image from Whimsy Stamps illustrated by Crissy Armstrong. This one is called Warm Winter Wishes. I've colored with Copics and then highlighted with lots of glitters. The papers are from my stash, not sure who makes them. And I've embellished with ribbon, a snowflake and sticky gem.
This card also fits the challenges at:
Meljen's Designs: Anything Goes

Special Birthday
Afternoon All!
Wow, another day more than half over! Where does the time go! Ack! I've not had much time for crafting lately, been too busy with work and the kids. I do miss my stamping goodies and blogging too, sorry that I don't make it around to leave you comments. I do hope things will settle down one of these days so that I can visit you all too!
I wanted to share a birthday card I made recently. This is for a good friend, but sadly it's going to be late getting to her because I keep forgetting to mail it. Bad friend I am!
I've used this sweet image from Mo's Digital Pencil and colored her in pretty blues and chocolates to match this cupcake print paper. I used Copics on the image and then accented with crystal effects and glitter. The papers are DCWV from the Sweet Stack and I've embellished with ribbons, flowers, and sticky gems.
This card fits the challenges at:
The Pixie Cottage: Something Sweet
Our Creative Corner: Embellishments
Paper Cutz: Anything Goes
Thanks for dropping by today. Hope you have a super afternoon and evening.

Matchbook Candy Treats
Hi All!
Happy Monday! Hope you had a nice weekend. We did a bit of redecorating at our house and then some cleaning. Not much time for crafting sadly.
I'll be attending a craft fair this coming Saturday with a couple of my besties and we plan to sell some cards and other handmade items at our table. I was looking for a fun way to use up some scraps and create something to take to the fair. So I made little matchbook candy treats! And talk about super easy too!
I found the idea over at Ellie's blog, she did a cute Halloween treat for her Stamp Something project last week. I was able to use a bunch of the 3" wide piece of card stock that are left from making 5 1/2" square cards and then some designer papers. You cut the card stock to 3" x 8 1/2" and then score at 3/4" and 5". Fold on the scores, decorate and then stuff with candy and staple closed. You can also make belly bands, but I wanted quick and easy. I've filled my matchbooks with Ghirardelli chocolate squares. Yummm! The sentiments are all from Whimsy Stamps.
Thanks for dropping by today! Hope you have a great evening and a fabby Tuesday.

Christmas and Halloween
Happy Friday!
Boy these short weeks always overwhelm me! It's nice to have the extra day off, but I spend the rest of the week playing catch up. Hope you've had a good week. I'm looking forward to the weekend for sure!
Today is new challenge day over at Just Magnolia and Stamp Something. And I've chosen to make some seasonal cards for these challenges.
First up is my card for Just Magnolia. This week our challenge is a sketch by the talented Dawny P! It's a great sketch to work with so I hope you will give it a try too. Don't forget you also need to add a Magnolia image in there too.
I used Dawny's sketch for a holiday card with these pretty BG Jovial papers and some stitching and distressing on the edges. The image is the new Brother and Sister stamp and it has been colored with Copics and then cut out and popped up on foam tape. The circle behind the image has been embossed with a poinsettia folder from SU for the Big Shot. I've embellished with lace, ribbon, a charm, some flowers, and brads. The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps' Handmade Letter Seals.
This card also fits at:
7 Kids Challenge: Flowers and Layers
ABC Challenge: F is for Flowers
Simon Says: Recipe
Spoon Full of Sugar: Winter Wonderland
Die Cut Creams Christmas: Recipe
Next up is my card for the challenge at Stamp Something this week. Keeping with the season, we would like to see your Halloween Somethings. This week we have Nikki from Bunny Zoe's Crafts as our sponsor!
I've used a sweet Meljen's Designs digital stamp called Ghost Cutie! He reminds me of those fun ghost lollipops we used to make for Halloween with Tootsie Roll Pops! Did you ever make those?
I colored the image and then framed with Oval Nesties. The papers are BG Eerie with SU card stock. I've kept this card pretty simple and only embellished with ribbons and sticky gems.
This card also fits over at:
Polka Doodles: Something Spooky
Be sure to check out the Whimsy Digital Team blog hop today at Noon EST starting over at the Whimsy Inspirations Blog! Lots of new digital images now available and just released today! Happy hopping!
Thanks for stopping on by today! Hope you have a great Friday and a fabulous weekend!

Adorably Spooky
Hi All!
Happy Thursday! I have a quick post today to share a new card using some new Meljen's Designs Digital Stamps.
This card uses two images, Bibble Bubble Cauldron and a brand new released today image called Witchy Cat. Melissa has been releasing really fun Halloween images over the last few weeks so there are lots to choose from. I don't usually make too many Halloween creations, but these images are just too cute not to work with!
I started with some BG Eerie papers.. Then colored my images with Copics and added some stickle accents. The cauldron image has been framed with circle nesties and then the cat was cut out and popped up on foam tape. I've embellished with faux stitching dots, sticky gems, and ribbon, and stickles.
This card fits the challenges at:
Moving Along with the Times: Halloween
The Pixie Cottage: Stitching
Digital Tuesday: Sew Special

Halloween Fun
Happy Tuesday All!
So did you have a nice weekend? As always ours went by super fast. We didn't do too much, cleaned up around the house and hit Ikea for some organizational stuff for my stamp room and my son's bedroom. Then spent Sunday cleaning his room. It's amazing the stuff kids can accumulate. Needless to say he doesn't have as much stuff anymore!
I was busy this morning with work and getting orders in the mail, but I did have some time this afternoon to stamp a bit. I haven't stamped in days so it was nice to take the break and get crafty! I've created 2 cards for Halloween, both using digital stamps available at Whimsy!
The first one uses 2 new images from Meljen's Designs. The main image is the Country Star Pumpkin and then I cut out and popped up the cute Scaredy Cat image. I also added in one of Ann's Halloween Tickets, also available from our digital collection.
I've used some old designer paper, not sure who makes this one with some black and purple card stock. Then used the layout from Friday Sketchers and framed my image with Circle Nesties. Both images were colored with Copics. The card was embellished with ribbons and flowers with pearl centers.
This card fits the challenges at:
Cupcake Craft: Spooky Creatures
Everybody Art: Halloween
Double Dutch: Boo to You
Meljen's Designs: Halloweeny
Next I have a card using a new digi from our artist Katie of Big Hug Creations. Katie has some fun and quirky images available in her collection and I just think this Witch's Broom is hilarious! I also added in some more of Ann's Halloween Tickets.
The papers on this card are BG Eerie and I've used the layout from Stamp with Fun. The image was colored with Copics and then sprayed with Glimmer Mist. I've embellished with flowers and sticky pearls.
This card fits at:
Papertake Weekly: 3 of a kind
Paper Romance: Halloween
Fussy and Fancy: Halloween
Thanks so much for stopping by today. If you are up for a fun blog hop and a chance to win some prizes, the Whimsy Stamps Meljen's Designs rubber release hop is still in full swing! You have until Friday to hop and enter for a chance to win some new rubber!
Have a great afternoon and evening. Hope to be back again soon!

A Recipe of 2
Happy Friday!
Wow what a busy week! Thanks again to all who joined in the Whimsy Stamps new release blog hop and congrats to all the lucky winners. Stay tuned for another fun hop later today when we release the brand new Meljen's Designs rubber collection! More prize chances and lots of eye candy from the DT and special guests. All the fun starts at Noon EST!
Today is new challenge day over at Just Magnolia and this week we have a recipe challenge. We would like to see 2 of something along with a Magnolia image. So you could do 2 images, 2 papers, 2 flowers, 2 brads, etc. As long as there are 2 of something you can enter this challenge.
I chose to use a few different elements in 2's. I started with 2 colors of card stock, pink and blue and then added on 2 layers of designer papers and then added 2 images using the masking technique, and finally finished with 2 sets of flowers and 2 ticket sentiments from Whimsy Stamps. Think that about covers the 2's! My image was colored with Copics and I've embellished with this gorgeous lace I just got from Wild Orchid Crafts. I have to say they not only have the best flowers and trimming for great prices, but the customer service at WOC is top notch!
This card also fits the challenges at:
Creative Inspirations: Birthday Theme
Spoon Full of Sugar: Sparkle and Shine
Going Grey: Think Pink
Incy Wincy: Sparkly Glitter
Thanks for dropping by this morning. Hope to see you back in a bit for the Whimsy Hop! Until then, have a great morning!

Vintage Christmas Gift
Hi All!
Wowzers! Thanks so much for all the wonderful comments on my Whimsy blog hop post! The DT and I really enjoyed having the chance to share these new holiday stamps with you. If you haven't had a chance to participate in the hop, you still have until Noon EST on Thursday this week. Great prizes up for grabs throughout the hop and then the grand prize is here on my blog. Winners will be announced Thursday afternoon.
Today I wanted to share another project I created using these new stamps. This time I created a little gift tote and a matching card using the Poinsettia from the set Vintage Christmas by Crissy Armstrong.
I created this gift set with some kraft card stock and BG Jovial papers. On the card, the edges have been stitched on the sewing machine and then I embellished with flowers, ribbon, and sticky gems. I found the tutorial for this tote bag on Splitcoast Stampers. Super easy and I think it will make a great gift card holder. But you could also use it to hold matching note cards or little candies or something else. To see the tutorial, click HERE. The tote uses the same Jovial papers with stitched edges and is embellished with brads and then filled with shredded party bag filler. The images of the poinsettias were cut and made 3D with foam tape and I added some gold glitter pen accents.
Thanks for stopping by today. If you've been to the Whimsy shop you might have noticed we are low or out of stock on some of the new stamps. They are on order with our manufacturer and should be here later this week.
Have a great Tuesday!

Before we get to the grand prize candy, I have a card to share with you using the new stamp Starry Night and a sentiments from the Vintage Christmas Set and Jingle Bell Ride.
I've used some BG Jovial papers, totally in love with these! I made an easel card with black and red card stock. I've embellished with glitter, faux stitching, poinsettia flowers, brads, and sticky gems, and pretty polka dot organdy ribbon. On the inside of my card I added a little gift tag and pocket (got this idea from Bev on a card she posted last week). The image and sentiment on the tag is from the Vintage Christmas Set.
This card fits some challenges too...

Celebrate the Holidays and Some News
Good Morning and Happy Friday!
Friday means new challenges over at Just Magnolia and Stamp Something and today it also means Day 2 of the Whimsy Stamps Sneak Peeks! Are you enjoying the sneaks? I know the Whimsy DT members are enjoying the chance to share with you.
For our Stamp Something challenge this week the theme is Something to Celebrate. You can interpret this however you choose. I have chosen to make a holiday card to celebrate the upcoming Christmas Season. And I'm also giving you a sneak peek at the newest carousel horse from Crissy Armstrong, this is Jingle Bell Ride.
I started with some new BG Jovial papers, loving these! And then also used another one of the new text background stamps from Ann of Raindrop Echo Designs called Life Defined. The image was colored with Copics and accented with glitter. I've distressed the edges of the papers and then embellished with lace, ribbon, a charm, flowers, snowflakes, and sticky gems. The final accent was to add this cute ticket sentiment from Ann's new Holiday Ticket set also releasing this weekend at Whimsy.
This card fits the challenges at:
Sundays with Crissy: Sparkle and Shine
Creative Inspirations: Christmas in September
Sketch Saturday: sketch
Creative Card Crew: Bloomin Marvelous
One Stop: Snowflakes
Our challenge over at JM is a special monthly challenge sponsored by Simon Says. This month you can either use the theme Jingle All the Way or Anything Goes. I have chosen to make another holiday card and get a head start on my cards for my Christmas card list.
I have more Whimsy sneak peeks on this card too. First is the background stamp Holiday Wish List created by Ann. I've stamped it on kraft paper with chocolate ink. The papers are BG Jovial and have been distressed. I've embellished with a hand made flower made from a poinsettia stamp in a new set by Crissy Armstrong called Vintage Christmas. I colored the image and layered it to give some dimension.
This card also fits at:
CRAFT Challenge: Fancy Floral
Little Red Wagon: Make your own embellishment
Thanks so much for stopping by today. Be sure to visit the Whimsy DT to see more sneak peeks and then join us back here on Sunday, October 3rd for our release Holiday Blog Hop!
Before I go today I also wanted to share some fun and exciting news...
As I am sure many of you already know, Whimsy Stamps has been carrying the complete line of Meljen's Designs digital stamps, but now Melissa Jenkins will also be joining the Whimsy Team of Artists to create an exclusive rubber stamp collection available at Whimsy! We are so very excited and honored to have Melissa and can't wait for you to see her brand new collection of RUBBER stamps!
Our first release is set for Friday, October 8th with a blog hop and pre-order of the first of her 5 designs, perfect for the holiday season. We hope you will join us next Friday!
Have a great weekend!
