October Clearly Whimsy Stamps Release - Day 2

Hi everyone and welcome to Day 2 of the  
Clearly Whimsy Stamps October 2014 release

We are releasing 7 new clear stamp sets and 5 dies/die sets this week, and they are available to buy from the Whimsy Stamps store RIGHT NOW and selected Whimsy Stamps retailers tomorrow! This month we are thrilled to welcome Michelle Short and Lisa Henke as our Guest Designers. Welcome ladies! We are so happy that you are joining us for this release!

Today we are revealing the Gingerbread House 4x6” stamp set and the Gingerbread House die set, the Gingerbread People 3x4" stamp set and the Gingerbread People die set, and the Sparkle and Shine 4x6" stamp set.  Hop on over to the Whimsy blog for more details.

The card I made uses Sparkle and Shine.  I went with non  traditional holiday colors for this one. The striped paper is actually ink and our Basic Backgrounds and Borders stamp set. The card stock is Whisper White from SU and I stamped the sentiment with Memento Ink. There is also a layer of vellum under the stamped layer of paper.

After stamping the sentiment, I stamped again with Versamark and then used heat and stick powder and glitter to create some shimmer. It's hard to see in the photo but there are also some snowflakes stamped and then glittered up as well. I finished off this card with some ribbons, twine, gems, and sequins. Here's a close up.

October Clearly Whimsy Stamps Release - Day 1

Over the next 3 days we will reveal our very first Christmas Clearly Whimsy Stamps release! We are releasing 7 new clear stamp sets and 5 coordinating die/die sets this week, and they will be available to buy from the Whimsy Stamps store today and selected Whimsy Stamps retailers on Saturday.

For my card I have use the Penguin Fun stamps and dies to create a shaker card. I also used the Stitched Border Trio to create the stitched effect on the edges of the card.

I have created a white on white card and accented with teal blue and purple. The shaker card was created with circle dies, acetate, and some chunky glitter. I stamped the penguin and colored his feet with a marker. Then stamped the hat onto a colored piece of designer paper and then used the coordinating die to cut it out.
