Whimsy Stamps May Rubber Release Hop

For this hop we have 6 different prize draws! We have not one but TWO grand prize draws, so two lucky hoppers will win a large selection of new release stamps. I'm not going to tell you where they are, so if you haven't found them you'll just have go back to the beginning and start hopping!

Wee Snippet and Mystic and Magical Mini Letter Seals

For my blog hop creation I used the new image stamp "Wee Snippet and Mystic" along with a sentiment from the new "Magical Mini Letter Seals". Crissy has illustrated these beautiful new characters called Mystic and Wee Snippet and Ann has done a fabulous job creating a sentiment set to coordinate perfectly.

My image was colored using Copics and some Stickles accents. I've used papers from Memory Box and distressed all the edges. The Double Scallop Border Die is accenting the edge of one paper layer and has been embellished with ribbon, a button, twine, and a mushroom charm (also available at Whimsy). The rest of the card was embellished with lots of flowers, more glitter, and some butterflies cut from the papers. The sentiment was stamped with brown ink and it says "Fairy Happy Birthday".

Stamp Something Celebration Hop and a Sneak

Hi all!

Well, I had this post all set and ready to go, but then blogger went down and lost it was! Boo Hoo! I'm sure I'm not alone, but I was tired of waiting to see if it would be restored. So here I sit typing again. Today is our 3 year anniversary over at Stamp Something and we are celebrating with some awesome prizes and a blog hop!

The challenge this week is "Anything Goes" and there is a fabulous Copic prize sponsored by the Merriartist! And we have a second prize too. For my card I'm sharing a Whimsy Stamps creation and giving you all some sneak peeks too! On Wednesday, May 18th we'll be releasing 18 new stamps and sentiment sets and 2 new dies and today is our first day of sneaks!

My card uses the adorable new "Baby of Mine" stamp illustrated by Crissy Armstrong. I've colored with copics and stitched the edges on the sewing machine. The papers are Prima and have been distressed and stitched. I've embellished with flowers, pearls, stickles, lace, ribbon, and a baby bottle charm (available at Whimsy). Then to finish off I've used the new Welcome Baby Sentiment set with our new Welcome Baby Die Set! This die is a rattle and I've added one of the seal sentiments.

Happy Friday All!

Boy am I glad it's Friday! This has been a busy, but fun and exciting week too. Our family just welcomed a new little one - our first nephew! We are all over the moon with him - and our kids are so cute with him too. :) Looking forward to watching them all grow up together.

Stamp Something

Not much crafting to be had this week, which really seems to be the norm lately. Life is just too busy and crafting has taken the back seat, but I do miss it. We have a new challenge for you at Stamp Something this week, so I do have a new card to share.

Today our SS challenge is our monthly digi day challenge so anything goes with digi products! This is Buttercup Suzie, isn't she fun! I've colored her with Copics and then paired her with some BG papers and stitched the edges on the sewing machine. I've embellished with ribbon and flowers.

New Whimsy Digis

Hello All!

Happy Wednesday! I can't believe it's already Wednesday, where did this week go! Hope you've been having fun!

This is going to be a quick post as I have a mountain of stuff to do, but I wanted to share a creation using one of the new Whimsy Stamps digital images. This is called "Sarah the Pansy Fairy" and is illustrated by our newest artist Natalie of Moon Cookie Gallery.

There are 12 other fairy designs in Natalie's collection as well as some super cute new floral images. You can see the full collection HERE. I've colored with image with Copics and then added on some stickles to her wings to make them shine. The papers are Prima and I've embellished with ribbon, pearls, flowers, and some corner accents created with my new Spellbinders dies.
