Afternoon All!
Wow, another day more than half over! Where does the time go! Ack! I've not had much time for crafting lately, been too busy with work and the kids. I do miss my stamping goodies and blogging too, sorry that I don't make it around to leave you comments. I do hope things will settle down one of these days so that I can visit you all too!
I wanted to share a birthday card I made recently. This is for a good friend, but sadly it's going to be late getting to her because I keep forgetting to mail it. Bad friend I am!
I've used this sweet image from Mo's Digital Pencil and colored her in pretty blues and chocolates to match this cupcake print paper. I used Copics on the image and then accented with crystal effects and glitter. The papers are DCWV from the Sweet Stack and I've embellished with ribbons, flowers, and sticky gems.
This card fits the challenges at:
The Pixie Cottage: Something Sweet
Our Creative Corner: Embellishments
Paper Cutz: Anything Goes
Thanks for dropping by today. Hope you have a super afternoon and evening.

Sweet and Shy
Happy Monday!
Hope you had a lovely weekend and that your Monday is going well too. We are currently working behind the scenes over at Whimsy Stamps to get our store moved to a new server. Sorry for the inconvenience to anyone trying to visit the site, we should be back up soon. And hopefully all the issues will be solved and the site will move quicker.
I have a card to share with you that I made this afternoon using a sweet Mo's Digital Pencil image.
I colored the image with Copics and then attached her to a mini card that flips up to reveal a sentiment underneath. The papers are BG Capella and the edges have been distressed with scissors. I've embellished with lace and flowers.
The inside sentiment is from Raindrop Echo Designs Digital Collection at Whimsy Stamps. This one is from the set Gracie's Roses sentiments and I thought it worked nicely with this sweet little girl.
This card also fits the challenges at:
Sketch Saturday: sketch
Mo's Digital Pencil Challenges: Folds and Flowers
Totally Gorjuss: Flowers
Thanks for dropping by today. Oh before I go, did you notice my new watermark and signature? Ann from Raindrop Echo Designs created these for me and I LOVE them! BIG HUGE thanks to Ann! You can purchase your own at Whimsy, once the store reopens that is. Should be very soon, fingers crossed!

Summer Sweetness
Hi All!
Happy Tuesday! Boy, I intended to make this post more than a few hours ago, what happened to all the time in this day! Hope you had a nice weekend and that your week is off to a good start too. I'll be making this a quick post since it's already so late and now I have to make dinner.
I made card this morning using this adorable Mo Manning image called Lacie with Ice Cream. I just love this image, perfect for Summer and she's just so sweet and sassy too! Can you tell I'm not ready to give up on Summer yet.
I colored the image with copics and the framed it with Circle Nesties. I also added some stickles to the ice cream. The papers are BG Lemonade with some yellow and white card stock. I stitched the bottom layer on the sewing machine and then embellished with a doilie and some ribbon, pearls, and flowers.
This card fits the challenges at:
Copic Creations: Pleats or Folds in clothing
Digital Tuesday: Stripes and Dots
My Time to Craft: Jewelled
Alphabet Challenge: S is for scallops
Pile it On!: Layers
Simon Says Stamp and Show: Layers
Thanks so much for dropping by today! Hope you have a marvelous evening!

A Simple One
Hi All!
Hope you're having a great day. We've been busy with errands and a dentist appointment, which went really well I have to say! It was for my 6 year old and he went in the all by himself and 10 minutes later he was done! Last time was a nightmare, so this was a really nice surprise! And when we got home, I had some time to stamp too...so far, a pretty good day!
I've created a very simple card, well simple for me anyway! I usually load my cards up with lots of embellishments and flowers, so keeping this one simple was indeed a challenge for me.
I started out with this adorable image from Mo's Digital Pencil and colored with copics and added some gel pen highlights and stickles. The image is so cute on it's own, I think it makes for a great image to use on a simple card. I've used the sketch from The Pink Elephant with some pink and white card stock and one piece of BG Eva paper. The white layer was embossed with the Swiss Dots folder and my Big Shot. I embellished simply with a piece of ruffled ribbon and some pearls.
This card also fits the challenges at:
Mo's Digital Pencil: Clean and Simple, and GDT call
A Spoon Full of Sugar: Pearls and Glitter
Cupcake Craft: Friends
Thanks for coming on by today! Hope you have a wonderful night, happy stamping! :)

One For Baby
Happy Monday All!
Hope you had a great weekend. It's winter break here for the kids this week so we are relaxing and hanging around the house in our PJs most days! Although, today we are planning to see a friend for a play date, so that will make for a fun day!
Before we're off for the day, I did want to share a card I created for a new baby! I haven't made a baby card in while so I had fun with this one. I went and bought a new image from Mo's Digital Pencil just for the occasion too!
Isn't this image adorable! I love the chubby baby cheeks and the sweet smile. I've colored her with copics and added some gel pen highlights. I've also entered this for the Mo's GDT call. I love doing design work and a GDT spot would be lots of fun! The papers are SU! retired designer prints with distressed edges. I've embellished with Prima flowers, roses, lace ribbon, satin ribbon, a baby shoe charm, and a frame for the sentiment. The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps new Oval Snippets Set and I am just loving them! They work perfectly with various punches too.
This card fits the challenges at:
Saturday Spotlight: Doing the Mess Around
Stamp with Us: Color Combo/Inspiration Challenge
Stamptacular Sunday: Going in Circles
Digital Tuesday Challenges: All Things Girly

Glitzy Christmas Cards
Happy Friday!
Hope everyone had a great week. I can't believe we are another week closer to Christmas and I still have yet to shop! I'm hoping to get something done this weekend, fingers crossed my plan will work out. Hope you have some fun things planned too.
Today I have two cards to share with you. One for the new challenge at Stamp Something and the other for the new challenge at Just Magnolia. I've made two Christmas cards to add to my ever growing collection. At least I'll be ready to send out cards soon, even if my shopping isn't done!
First, I'll share my card for Stamp Something. Our challenge this week is "Glitzy Somethings." We want to see lots and lots of sparkle, shimmer, and shine! This is the perfect time of year to bling up those creations too! Our sponsor this week is Paper Maniac and there is a fab prize up for grabs!
I've used this sweet Holly the Christmas Fairy image from Mo's Digital Pencil. She's been colored with Copics and then I added lots of glitter accents with a Spica glitter pen. I've used some My Mind's Eye Wonderful Winter papers that have glitter already on them with some red and ivory Stampin' Up! card stock. I've embellished with rhinestone brads, satin ribbon, flowers, vellum snowflakes, roses and glimmer mist.
This card also fits the challenges at:
Mo's Digital Pencil - Christmas Card using traditional colors
Cute Card Thursday - Swirly Girly
Digital Tuesday - Christmas Sparkle
The Pink Elephant - Favorite Coloring Medium
Pile It On! - Flowers and Fourishes
My next card is another holiday card with more glitz and bling and this sweet Tilda image. Our challenge at Just Magnolia this week is to make a card/project for a special person, this week is also our special monthly challenge sponsored by Simon Says Stamp. I won't say who my card is for as I don't want to spoil the surprise!
I've created an easel card for this project. I am loving these card styles, not only are they super easy to make, but they really create a nice way to display a card. I've colored my image with Copics and highlighted with a white gel pen. The papers are SU! from a retired pack of designer prints. I've distressed all the edges. The white layers have been embossed with a snowflake folder and CB then I sprayed them with glimmer mist. I am loving this stuff!
I've embellished with felt snowflakes and some acetate and glitter snowflakes that I made with a punch and some glitter. I also added some doodles and sticky pearls, ribbon, and a snowflake charm!
This card also fits the challenges at:
Simon Says Stamp - So Charming
Magnolia Down Under - Christmas Card
Thanks for dropping by today. Be sure to stop by Stamp Something and Just Magnolia and join in the challenges and check out the beautiful creations by my fellow design team members. Have a wonderful weekend. Happy stamping! :)

Some Christmas Cards
Happy Friday to you!
Hope you had a great week. I know I'm looking forward to the weekend for sure! This has been one busy week that I'm happy to see coming to an end. And with no big plans for the weekend, I'm hoping to squeeze in some craft time and relaxation!
Today I have two cards to share, both for new challenges. I went with some new holiday papers and images on both to get a start on my Christmas card list for this season.
Our challenge at Stamp Something this week is "Recipe for Love Somethings" and we have a set recipe and also have a special request. The challenge is to use 1 ribbon, 2 papers, and 3 embellishments on your card. Your embellishments can be 3 of 1 kind or a multiple amount of 3 different embellishments. And our special request is that you make your card not only to enter our challenge, but also to send to Jaimie Cates, as part of our Spread the Love card drive.
Our sponsor at Stamp Something this week is Mo's Digital Pencil and the design team was able to make their projects using some of Mo's fabulous images. I've used Noelle Bearing Gifts for my card.
I paired this image with some pretty Wassail holiday printed papers from BasicGrey. I love the vintage feel and the perfect Christmas colors of these papers. My layout is from Mojo Monday, which I've rotated. Then I've distressed the edges and embellished with brads, spacers, and felt snowflakes along with glitter and flocking for some texture.
Our challenge for you this week at Just Magnolia is to use a Magnolia image of course and do distressing on your project. There is a great tutorial to show you some fun ways to distress your projects as well. I LOVE to distress personally. I think it's the texture that makes me fond of the look. So have fun and rip it up this week!
I ordered some Magnolias with Erin last week and this one was suppose to be a different stamp! I have no idea of this one's name as I was sent the wrong stamp. I have to say though, that I'm kind of happy they sent the wrong one, as I do really like this one! She's been colored with Copics and the highlighted with a white gel pen.
The layout for this card is from this week's Everybody Art Challenge. And again I've used more Wassail papers and red and green cardstock. I embellished with flowers, spacers and rose centers, and some ribbon a heart charm and a heart piece of chipboard. The sentiment is from SU!'s Short and Sweet set.
Thanks for popping on by today! Be sure to drop by Stamp Something and Just Magnolia to check out my design team mates projects, they always have beautiful eye candy to share! Hope you have a wonderful weekend! Happy stamping. :)

Spooktacular Halloween
Happy Sunday All!
We are in the midst of a cold and rainy day here, perfect weather for an afternoon of stamping! I went out and hopped around the challenge blogs and found some I wanted to try. And here is what I came up with....
When I first saw this image, from Mo's Digital Pencil, I knew it would be great for those kid Halloween projects and then paired with this old SU! sentiment, it's perfect! I've colored with Copics and added some white gel pen and gold Spica glitter pen accents. I used the sketch from A Spoon Full of Sugar, which I rotated, and then paired with some purple and orange cardstocks and K and Company Halloween paper. I've embellished with satin black ribbon and a couple bows.
This card also fits the following Halloween and Fall themed challenges...
The Pink Elephant - Fall
Digital Tuesday - Boo!
Paper Take Weekly - The Dark Side
Cute Card Thursday - Spook Fest
Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge - Fall
One Stop Craft - Halloween
Stamptacular Sunday - Spook-tacular
Pile It On! - Ready for Halloween
Phew, I think that's all of the challenges! Thanks for dropping by today. Enjoy what's left of your Sunday! Happy Stamping! :)

Some Brown and a Sketch
Good Morning and Happy Friday!
Another week coming to a close! Hope it was a good one for you! This is a holiday weekend here in the States and our family is planning to take a trip up north to do some leaf peeping and see all the beautiful Fall foliage before the leaves are gone for another year! Hope you have a great weekend too!
Our challenge this week at Stamp Something is to use the color brown. You can make a card that is a monochromatic style with different shades of brown or you can use brown with other colors. As long as you have brown in good supply on your project, you will have a chance to win our fabulous prize donated by iCopic and be entered for a chance to be selected as Top 5 Stamper!
I created my card with my sister's first anniversary in mind. Her wedding colors were cream and brown so this challenge came at a perfect time! I used this beautiful image from Mo's Digital Pencil and colored it with Copics in browns and creams. I also added some Spica glitter accents, but they are hard to see in the photo. I wanted to go with a vintage feel to keep in line with this image, so I distressed the edges.
The layout is from Inspirational Card Sketches, it's sketch number 37. I used some retired SU! papers and cardstock in cream and brown. The ribbon was from the favors in my sister's wedding. I knew it would come in handy one day. I also embellished with HPH in vanilla to frame their names on the ribbon and then added Prima roses and pearls to finish off this card. This card also fits the embossing challenge at ABC Challenges.
Our challenge for you at Just Magnolia this week is a sketch by the very talented and super sweet Mina! It was a fun sketch to work with and I think I will be using it again sometime!
I went for some cheerful bright colors as I intend to send this card as a birthday wish for a friend. As usual, it's going to be late, as I had poor planning yet again!
I used some June Bug BasicGrey papers with bright pink and soft pink cardstock. My image has been colored with Copics and the I cut out Tilda and popped her up a bit to create more depth. I finished with card with some Prima flowers and buttons and a wide piece of stitched grosgrain ribbon.
I hope you have a fantastic weekend! And if you are up for a challenge, head on over to Stamp Something and Just Magnolia and take part! Happy stamping! :)
