Image Swap - Final Update

Good Evening!

This is a message for all the wonderful ladies who participated in my image swap. I didn't receive any new swaps today, so I went ahead and swapped and plan to mail back to you all tomorrow. Thank you to all who played along, it was fun and I hope you enjoy the images you receive back! Happy coloring!

A couple notes:
*After swapping, I re-swapped within groups to make sure that no one gets back the images they sent for the swap. We all know we can stamp our own images again whenever we want! :)
*Group two was lacking a few swappers in the end, not sure what happened there. So myself and Erin B. stamped extra images to make up for those missing swaps. Everyone will be getting back at least 10 images. Sorry that they may be different than what was originally listed for that group.
*Group 1 and 4 had two swaps reported in the mail, but I didn't want to wait any longer than today. If I receive those swaps, I will personally swap with those girls so they don't miss out. Sorry they didn't arrived in time.
*Group 3 was complete, you will all receive what was listed on the swap for images. :)
*All swaps are going in the mail tomorrow, unless we have spoken and are working out postage.

Thanks again ladies! It was a pleasure swapping with you! :)

Image Swap Update

Afternoon!

I just wanted to give a quick update on the image swap. We're still missing a few and some are in the mail on their way. I've already received today's mail and made updates to the list.

I have decided that I will be waiting until Friday to swap and then mail out first thing on Saturday. Hopefully, this will allow for more swaps to show up and be included. If I do not receive your images by Friday, March 6th, I will return them to sender if they arrive beyond that date. Thanks for understanding.

Hope to get the last few in the next couple days! Thanks again to all who participated! The groups are listed below! :)

EDIT on Firday 3/6:
I've been contacted by 5 people who put their swaps in the mail last week and they still have yet to arrive. Not sure what's going on with the mail, but this sounds like it's not the fault of the swappers, so I would like to wait a couple more days to see if any of the "missing in action swaps" do arrive.

I would hate to swap, mail back, and have the others arrive a day or two later. Plus, if we wait, we will have received just about all the images for the swap. I hope everyone is OK with this decision to wait. I promise to have them in the mail by Tuesday (3/10/09) next week so we are only a week over due. Thanks for understanding.

Image Swap

***This image swap is now CLOSED and RECEIVING***

If you are taking part in this image swap, please remember to have your images to me on or before March 2nd. I will beginning swapping on the 3rd and have these back in the mail to you on March 4th. Please no late swaps. Swaps received after the due date will be returned to sender. Thank You!

Anyone out there interested in participating in an image swap? I've seen so many great new stamps out there, so many that I can't possibly afford to by them all!

If you're interested, sign up for a spot or two or more if you'd like and then follow these swapping rules:
*Stamp out 10+1 of an image you would like to share
*Stamp your images on 5 1/2 X 4 1/4 inch pieces of white cardstock in permanent black ink
*Send your stamped images and a return postage paid envelope to me (email me for my mailing addy) and I'll swap and mail back out.

The deadline to sign up will be Monday, February 23rd. I'll start with one group of 10 and as we get more participants, I'll add more groups of 10.

Have your images stamped and in the mail so that I receive them on or before Monday, March 2nd. I'll swap them and put then back in the mail on Wednesday, March 4th. Sound fun?

If you have any questions, let me know. Oh and when you sign up, let me know how many spots you'd like and which image(s) you'll be sharing, that way we don't get all of the same ones. :)

Swap Share

HI!

I recently participated in a swap hosted by Alex and I thought I would share the fabulous cards I got back.

This had to be one of the best swaps I've been a part of. All the cards are really really good! Lots of hard work went into each of them.

Thanks for swappin' girls and thanks for hosting Alex!

Happy Sunday!!

I can't believe another weekend is almost over. Hope it was good for everyone.

This is a card I made for a swap, hosted by Alex of California Stampin'. Check out her blog, she's a super talented stamper and scrapper, plus she's too sweet!

The card is pretty simple, but I tried to use lots of different colors and embellishments. I always seem to go with the brighter colors when I use this stamp set. I just love that froggie!

The papers are wasabi, bashful blue, pumpkin, white, and summer days prints. I used my corner rounder to make the scalloped edge on the blue paper. Then I added wide grosgrain red ribbon to cover the seam between the printed paper and the blue. The embellishments are a felt flower and silver brad, some crystal effects to make a shiny frog, and a paper pierced edge. The sentiment is from All Holidays.

Thanks for looking, enjoy what's left of the weekend. Come back tomorrow when I'll be announcing some big news!! Happy Stamping!! :)

Priceless Swappin'

Here are some cards I've made for a swap I'm doing with my upline/downline group. We agreed to each choose a set and make 3 different cards to swap. I chose Priceless because it seemed to be one that I had that the other ladies did not. It's also a set I like, but hardly ever use.

This first card is very simple, just the larger swirl stamp with the matching paper piercing from the Classy Brass Template. I added a few felt flowers from the Flower Fusion pack. I wanted them to look as though they were blowing in the wind. The colors here are Rose Red, Old Olive, and Pumpkin Pie.

This next card uses Tempting Turquoise and Basic Black as the color combo. It's quite bold, not something I usually do, but I like it. The accents here are the scalloped circle punch and rhinestone brad. Another simple card.

This last card is one I made months ago for a workshop make and take. I love the colors Soft Sky and Blue Bayou together. They're my favorite. The butterflies are each stamped in Bayou and then a Sky 3D butterfly is added to the middle for detail. I also used Soft Sky DSP.
Thanks for looking. Have a great Tuesday. Happy Stamping!! :)

Say What? Swap

Just a quick post. This is a card I made for the Say What? swap Erin is hosting on SCS. If you'd like to join this swap, click this link for more details.

I love this stamp set, Wonderful Favorites, but this is the first time I've ever actually used it. I think it works great for this swap. I saw a card in the catalog that was very similar to the one I've made. I just loved the color combination of Groovy Guava, Mellow Moss, and So Saffron together. The other stamps used here are from Simply Said. I added linen ribbon and an eyelet for my embellishments. Then used the circle punches and scalloped circle for the finishing touches.

Thanks for looking. Happy Stamping! :)

Spring Bling Swap

I recently took part in a Spring Bling swap hosted by Erin, my friend and upline. The swap was on Splitcoast. These are the cards I got back. They are some of the best swap cards I've ever received, so I wanted to share them with you.

All of these card were made by Stampin' Up! demos using Stampin' Up! supplies. Each card uses some sort of glitter or rhinestones as the focus for the "bling." These ladies are super talented and put a whole lot of work into these cards. This picture doesn't do them justice!

Thanks for an awesome swap girls! Check out this thread on Splitcoast where you will find the names of these artists and be able to click through to their galleries. Hope you all have a fantastic weekend. Happy stamping! :)
