SCYS#2 - Color Challenge

Hello and Happy Sunday!


Today I have a card to share with you that I created for the new challenge over at ShowCASe Your Style! Our theme for challenge #2 is a color challenge of gold, black, silver. and white. And this is the inspiration photo myself and the DT have used to create our cards.

This challenge will run from today (Saturday, November 15th) until midnight ET on Thursday, November 27th.

 

 

My card uses some black and white card stock. And I used some gold and silver ink to create the edging on two of my matte pieces of white cardstock. I have used the Clearly Whimsy Stamps products  Sparkle & Shine stamp set, Christmas Greetings stamp set and Christmas large word die.

I cut the Christmas word out of glitter American Crafts paper and all the Christmas ornament bulbs have been stamped with gold and silver Memento Brilliance Inks.

October Clearly Whimsy Stamps Release - Day 3

Hi everyone and welcome to the final day of our October Clearly Whimsy Stamps release!!

Over the last 3 days we have revealed our very first Christmas Clearly Whimsy Stamps release! We are released 7 new clear stamp sets and 5 coordinating die/die sets this week, and they are all available to buy from the Whimsy Stamps store now.

We are thrilled to welcome Michelle Short and Lisa Henke as our Guest Designers for this release. Welcome ladies!

Today we are revealing the Christmas Greetings 4x6” stamp set and the Christmas Large Word die, and our Scandi Christmas 4x6" stamp set.  Hop on over to the Whimsy blog for more details.

One of the cards I have for today uses the new Scandi Christmas stamps and the Christmas Large Word Die.

I used memento inks to create the border and then stamped the snowflakes using Versamark ink. This was a very quick and easy card to make. Lots of possibilities with these new Christmas sets. The Christmas word was created with the die and Big Shot, then glued in place. The cardstock is all SU!.

My second card uses Christmas Greetings and the Christmas Large Word Die as well as the Stitched Border Trio die set. And this card fits the our theme at ShowCASe Your Style challenges.

I used red and white SU! cardstock and a piece of vellum. The sentiment was stamped in black ink and the snowflakes in Versamark ink and then heat embossed with silver powder. I also used some glue and super fine silver glitter to shine up my edges on the top layer. The Christmas Word die cut was made using the Christmas word die and the Big Shot, then glued in place.
