Good Morning,
Hope you're Tuesday is off to a good start. I've had a crazy morning here, I'll spare you the details, but here's hoping things improve rather quickly or I may just go back to bed! Ever have one of THOSE mornings? Ahhhhh!
So I have a card to share today, which I created for this week's A Spoonful of Sugar challenge. The challenge this week is a fun sketch sketch designed by DT member Lim. Whimsy Stamps is also the sponsor for this challenge! Head on over and check things out, the DT samples are fabulous!
Seeing as it is Spring, even though it doesn't really feel like it around here, I wanted to go with some light pastel colors for my palette on this card. I used the SAB designer paper from SU! and paired it with some Barely Banana, Bashful Blue, and Certainly Celery SU! card stock. The image is Whimsy Frog and he's been colored with Copics then cut out and mounted on the embossed blue piece. The embossing was done with the bubbles folder from Cuttlebug. I added some grosgrain ribbon as the different layers of the sketch and each layer also includes some silver brads. The final accents are some Prima flowers with button centers. The sentiment is from Whimsy also.
Thanks for popping over today. Hope you have a great day! It's suppose to be warmer today, emphasis on suppose, so maybe we'll get a chance to go outside! One can dream, right?!
Happy Stamping!! :)

Sketch and Stash with Magnolia v Stampavie
Good Afternoon!
Hope you're having a fabulous Monday. It's rainy again here, perfect weather for stamping!
I made a card this afternoon for the challenges at Magnolia v Stampavie and Sketch and Stash. The sketch from Sketch and Stash worked perfectly with the color challenge at MvS, so why not get a two for one!
I started with some Riding Hood Red and Basic Black cardstock, then layered on some Marrakech BasicGrey patterned paper in reds. The image is one I received in a swap and it's been colored with Copics then cut out and placed on the grosgrain ribbon layers. I added some self adhesive gems in a swirl pattern and some Pretties Kit flowers and brads. Red and black are a bit different for me color wise, but it was fun to use such a bold palette.
I also wanted to share that the Whimsy Stamps Design Team will be holding a blog hop on Sunday April 5th. The hop will begin at 9am here on my blog and will take you to all DT blogs and then end here on my blog with a chance at some Whimsy Candy!! I hope you'll join us!
Enjoy the rest of your day! Happy Stamping!! :)

Some Challenges and Awards
Happy Sunday!
Hope you're weekend is going well! We had dinner out with friends last night and are now enjoying a relaxing day inside out of the rain.
I decided to make good use of this rainy day and catch up on some blog challenges. I made one card using the challenges from Cute Card Thursday, which was "A Family Affair" then I used the sketch from Sketch Saturday and the color combo from Copic Color Challenge.
Seeing as it is a rainy day out there, what better stamp to use for this card than Rainy Day Emma from Whimsy Stamps! I colored her with Copics in the colors Brick Beige and different pinks and browns. Brick Beige was one of the Copic Color Challenge colors along with Blush and Shock Pink. Well I didn't have all those colors in Copics but I did use some Blush Blossom and Sarah Sand cardstock and then some Porcelain BasicGrey paper which has a pink color. The flowers are also a blush and pink with some pink and clear rhinestone brads. The sentiment was hand written in black ink. I plan to give this card to my aunt who kindly took care of the kids last night so my hubby and I could do dinner with our friends!
I've also received a couple awards over the last week and I'd like to also share those and thank the lovely ladies that gave them to me. First is this award, which I received from Erin! Thank you so much, it means a great deal coming from you! It's always an honor to receive such nice awards from such wonderfully talented crafters and friends!
This next award is from Michele! This award made me smile Michele, thank you so much for thinking of me. I will display it with honor as well.
The rules for these awards include displaying them on your blog with links to those who gave them out. Also displaying them on your sidebar and then passing them along to other bloggers who inspire you. So I would like to share both of these awards with all of the fabulous friends who take the time to visit me each day and leave such thoughtful comments. You all are amazing and I love that I have such truly special friends all around the world! Thank you!
Enjoy the rest of your day! Hope it's dry and warm where you are. Happy Stamping!! :)

Sketch Something
Good morning, happy Friday!!
Oh, I love Fridays! Another week over and the weekend on the way! Hope you all have some fun things planned! Today also means a new challenge over on Stamp Something! And this week we have a sketch for you, created by our DT member Emily! Thanks Emily! We also have Layers of Color as our sponsor this week and they have generously donated 3 stamp sets for one lucky participant! Head over to Stamp Something to check everything out and be sure to take a look at all the fantastic DT samples too!
The card I made for the challenge uses the stamp set Polka Dot Love, from Layers of Color. It's a great set for creating backgrounds as well as focal images! I had fun pairing it with some Urban Prairie paper from BasicGrey.
The cardstock colors are SU! Riding Hood Red, Baja Breeze, and Black. I used one piece of the BasicGrey paper and then stamped some floral images to create some of my own patterned papers. I also embossed one layer with the Swiss Dots folder and my CB. The final layer is the main image which is individual flower petals and a thank you sentiment.
I hope you'll join us this week and try for a chance at this great blog candy prize! Have a fabulous weekend. Happy Stamping!! :)

Good Luck
Hi All!
Just a quick post today as I will be losing my Internet connection shortly while we have another service installed. I hate to be without the Internet, but it will be well worth it after we have a better and faster connection. Hope you all have a great day! I hope to be back tomorrow with a new card for the Stamp Something challenge. Please forgive me for not blogging much today, I'll be back soon!
I made this card last night, not for any particular reason other to use this Baseball Connor stamp now available at Whimsy. I also paired the image with some new BasicGrey Marrakech papers. These are the perfect colors and patterns for more masculine cards.
The image was colored with Copics and highlighted with a white gel pen. The cardstock colors are SU! Riding Hood Red, Tangerine Tango and Night of Navy. The accents are some wide grosgrain ribbon, eyelets, a star brad, and a metal clip to hold the sentiment which is also available at Whimsy Stamps. I chose "good luck" because this an important week for our friends and I wanted them to know we are keeping our fingers crossed! Wishing all the good luck we can! :)
Thanks for popping over today, enjoy the rest of your day. I hope to have some blog hopping fun later today. Happy Stamping! :)

Glittery Princess
Good Morning,
Hope you're having a great day so far. I have a busy day of laundry and errands, but before I head off to tend to all of that, I wanted to share a card I made for the ABC Challenge, which this week is G is for Glitter!
I received this image as part of a swap and thought that no princess is complete without a sparkly dress. Plus my daughter wanted this card to be for her and she loves all things pink and glittery!
The papers are BasicGrey Porcelain and SU! cardstock in Chocolate Chip, Kraft, and Pink Pirouette. The image was colored with Copics and then I added crystal effects and dazzling diamond dust to create the shimmer. The flowers are paper and I added fabric rose centers both of which came from a recent trip to the local craft store and raid of the clearance bins! I added some white and pink ribbons and rhinestone brads to finish off this card.
Thanks for stopping by today! Have a great Wednesday. Happy Stamping!! :)

Easter Wishes Sketch
Happy Tuesday!
Hope you're having a good day. This post is a little later than normal as the morning got away from me, but things are quieting down now. I had some time to stamp and that's always nice!
I made a card for the sketch challenge over at PaperTake Weekly and combined it with the Easter challenge over at A Spoon Full of Sugar. And this is the result...
The image is Whimsy Bunny and Snowman, minus the snowman. I colored him with Copics and then created the scenery with some doodles of grass as well as flowers from the Loads of Love stamp set by SU!. The papers are new SAB designer prints, love these! The sentiment is from the Loads of Love Accessories set. The flowers are paper ones I received from Jo with SU! Button Latte centers.
Thanks for hopping on by today! :) Hope you enjoy the rest of your day. Happy Stamping!! :)

Layers of Color - Sunflower Squares
Good Monday morning,
Hope everyone had an enjoyable weekend and that your new week is off to a good start! I only have a few minutes this morning for some blogging and email and then it's off to do laundry and clean up the house. Ahhh, Mondays!
I wanted to share this card I made using Layers of Color stamps. I'm particularly proud of this one as it was just published in the latest issue of Just Cards! Magazine. It was a nice surprise to receive that free issue in the mail and see my card on one of the pages!
I love this stamp set too, it's called Architectural Blocks and it's available at Layers of Color. I used watercolor wonder crayons and an aquapainter to color this image. The papers are all SU! cardstocks in Artichoke, Saffron, and Chocolate Chip. I added a piece of chocolate ribbon for some added detail. It's a simple card, yet I think it still has a lot of interest.

Sugar Bowl #6 - Mother's Day
Happy Saturday!
Hope you're enjoying the weekend. We are just relaxing at home getting ready to visit family this afternoon for dinner. Then tonight is movie night after the kiddos go to bed.
I have a card to share that I made for the Sugar Bowl challenge #6 which was to make something for a Mother. It could be a card or a gift for your own mother or a mother you know. You have to use a Sugar Nellie stamp and you can not make your project for any other challenges, just for this Sugar Bowl challenge.
This is the card I made. I used a gate fold style, it measures 5 1/2 x 11 inches and is scored at 3 and 8 1/2 inches to make the card a 5 1/2 inch square. The cardstock is SU! Regal Rose and Pirouette Pink. The papers are new BasicGrey Porcelain.
This is the outside. I used this Sugar Nellie stamp by Elisabeth Bell. I received her from my friend Deb. I love the sweetness in her face and the cute little bunny. The flowers are ones I received from my friend Jo with Porcelain Button centers by BasicGrey and pearls from the Pretties Kit available from SU!. The card is tied closed with some organza ribbon in pink and has a hat pin for an added accent.
This is the inside view. I added some white cardstock which has been punched with the SU! eyelet punch. The paper is more Porcelain with more pearl centered flowers and a sentiment from All Holidays from SU!.

This is the card I made for the challenge. I used some of my Whimsy Stamps and new BasicGrey Porcelain paper now available at Whimsy Stamps! The images are Whimsy Owl and Whimsy Turtle, both have been colored with Copics and highlighted with a white gel pen.
I added some Prima flowers and gave them some Porcelain Buttons for centers and then used a piece of wide grosgrain ribbon and some white gel pen doodles to finish off this card.
Enjoy the rest of the day and have a great weekend! Hopefully, it's warm where you are and you'll get to be outside! Happy stamping and Happy Spring!
Edit to Add:
Bev has some truly fabulous blog candy on offer right now...head on over and enter for your chance to win!! She's going to draw a winner on Sunday the 22nd of March, so there's no time to waste!

Sarah Kay and some Challenges
Hello!
Hope your day is going well. I'm keeping myself busy waiting to hear what's wrong with my car. Had to take it in last night for a rubbing under the floor, very strange. Here's hoping it doesn't cost a million bucks to fix! Now on to happy things...
I was out blog hopping earlier and came across some new challenges. So, I decided to see if I could combine a few and make a card to share. I started with the sketch over at Sketch and Stash and then used the recipe challenge on Cute Card Thursday and finally the ABC Challenge which this week is F for Flowers. The sketch was an easy one to use, I see myself using it again too. And the CCT recipe challenge was to rip paper, use 2 papers, and only 4 embellishments one of which I made a flower so I could enter the ABC challenge too.
I used this pretty Sarah Kay image that Erin shared with me, thanks Erin! She's been colored with Copics. The papers are new Marrakech by BasicGrey, now available at Whimsy Stamps! The cardstock is SU! So Saffron and Night of Navy. Now I only used 1 printed paper, but did use 2 colored pieces of cardstock. Not sure if this meets those 2 papers recipe requirement. The image piece has been torn and sponged around the edges. The final touches are a piece of ribbon, a flower and button, and a piece of HPH to frame the sentiment which is from Whimsy Stamps.
Thanks for stopping by. I'm off to make my daughter some lunch and then I have a parent teacher conference for my son. So a busy afternoon! Enjoy the rest of your day. Happy Stamping!! :)

3 Challenges
Hi All!
Another week half over! It's been pretty nice weather-wise in New Hampshire these last few days, it almost feels like Spring is here, ALMOST. I had a play date with a friend today, the kids played great and us moms got to chat. Perfect way to spend the day!
I have a card to share that I made for 3 challenges...
A Spoon Full of Sugar was to use gems, Whiff of Joy was to use the color green, and then a great sketch over at Truly Scrumptious. You also have to use something shiny on your card for an additional part of the Truly Scrumptious challenge, which for my card would be the gems.
I got this cute image from the swap I hosted earlier this month, so all I had to do was color her. I used Copics of course and some white gel pen highlights. The papers are all old SU! prints and some Wild Wasabi and Almost Amethyst cardstock. I added adhesive gems, rhinestone brads, and a flower gem to fit the shiny and gem challenges. Then added some ribbon and a flower die cut to finish off this card.
Thanks for popping over! Be sure to check out the Whimsy Stamps website tomorrow! We'll be showing some sneak peeks at our next Whimsy Animals release as well as opening up ordering of the BasicGrey products we'll be carrying!
Happy Stamping! :)

Sketch Saturday and a Gorjuss Girl
Hello, happy Monday!
Hope the new week is off to a good start and your Monday is going well. It was a beautiful weekend here in New England, sunny and warm. The snow is starting to melt. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Spring is on it's way!
I've been busy with some website updates today, but took a break to try out some new images I received from a swap. I made this card for the challenge over on Sketch Saturday. I love the sketch this week, it was easy and fun to use. I will definitely use it again sometime too.
I received this sweet image from Karen and I just had to use her right away. Karen kindly sent me a bunch of Gorjuss Girls images in exchange for some postage. That works for me! I love being able to try out new images and then decide if I love them enough to get the stamps! I think I may need the stamp for this one! :)
I colored her with Copics, which ran a little, not sure why, but next time I'll just have to color her with something else. No biggie. I used some SU! Sale-a-Bration designer paper and Bashful Blue cardstock. The embellishments are Prima flowers and SU! Button Bouquet buttons. This was a very quick and simple card.
I hope to have some more stamping time later today, got lots of new images to try out from the swap I hosted! So much fun! Hope to do it again sometime or maybe join in if someone else would like to host! :)
Enjoy the rest of your day, happy stamping!! :)

Friday Throwdown
Good Morning!
Hope you're all having a nice weekend. The weather is beautiful here, warm too. Hoping to get outside this afternoon. But first I have a quick Sunday post.
I had some time to make a card for a couple challenges and wanted to share it with you. I used the sketch from this week's Friday Sketchers Challenge and the color combo from Color Throwdown. The colors this week are Tempting Turquoise, Elegant Eggplant, and a green of your choice. I went with this pretty BasicGrey paper as the starting point for this card.
The image is Whimsy Frog and the papers are BasicGrey Urban Prairie and SU! Turquoise, Eggplant, and Artichoke. I used Copics to color the image. The second layer has been embossed with the CB and bubbles folder. The final touches are flowers, ribbon, buttons, and a charm.
Hope you enjoy the rest of your day! See you tomorrow. Happy Stamping!! :)
Edit:
I'm also entering this card into a challenge with a fabulous prize! Crafty Goings On is offering up a set of 72 Copic Ciao markers! How cool it that! For a complete list of details, visit Crafty Goings On! You have until April 10th to enter.

Something Green and Truly Scrumptious
Good morning, happy Friday!!
It's Friday and that means another challenge over at Stamp Something! This week we are going GREEN! With Spring and St. Patty's day just around the corner we thought Something Green would be a perfect challenge for this week. So anything green goes! We also have a new sponsor this week and a fabulous stamp set up for grabs, head over to Stamp Something and check out the challenge, the samples, and the blog candy!
This is my Something Green made with a stamp donated by our sponsor Rare Image Rubber Stamps. I colored the image with Copics. The papers are SU!, a retired DSP and Always Artichoke and Mellow Moss cardstock. I added some Prima flowers, pearls, and ribbon to finish off this card.
I have another card to share today too, this one was for the Truly Scrumptious challenge last week. It was a great sketch challenge and a create your own buttons challenge. Well, I wasn't clever enough to create buttons, but I did use some as my flower centers.
The image is Strawberry Tea Sugar Nellie, she's been colored with Copics and hightlighted with a white gel pen. The papers are from Target and the cardstock is SU! Wild Wasabi and Tangerine Tango. The flowers are Primas and the sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps.
Thanks for stopping by, enjoy your weekend! If you're up for a challenge head on over to Stamp Something and create something green with us! Happy Stamping! :)
(Sorry about the photo quality on these. I was trying taking photos with a black background, but I don't think I like it!)

Cute Card Thursday Celebrates....
Hi All!
Hope your day is off to a great start! Being that today is Thursday, it means a new challenge over at Cute Card Thursday and this is a special week and a special challenge! They are celebrating 1 year as a challenge blog! They've given themselves a face lift and are offering up some fabulous blog candy donated by 5 different sponsors and I'm happy to share that Whimsy Stamps is one of those sponsors! The challenge this week is a sketch and to enter for your chance to be one of five lucky winners, you just need to submit a project using the sketch before 8pm next Wednesday evening. Fun, right!
This is the card I made using the sketch. You know me, I love a good sketch and this one was great! It was created by Katharina, she always designs the nicest sketches.
I started by making the base of my card using SU! Pink Pirouette, Kraft, and Very Vanilla cardstock. I then add some Bittersweet paper from BasicGrey. The image is Pajama Time Emma, by Whimsy Stamps, and has been paper pieced with another Bittersweet pattern and then colored with Copics. The ribbons are from my stash and were a gift from my friend Jo. I also added some Vanilla Hodgepodge Hardware pieces and flowers with pearls to finish off this card.
If you're up for a good challenge, head on over to CCT and make something using their sketch! Enjoy your day and thanks for stopping by! I hope to have some time later today to do a little blog hopping and visiting! Happy Stamping!! :)

Whimsical Wednesday Challenge #1
Good Morning, Happy Wednesday!
Hope you're having a great day. Mine is off to a busy start as usual, but I'm hoping to squeeze in some down time later this afternoon. Maybe stamp or even take a nap with my daughter! Hope you have something fun planned too.
Today is our very first Whimsical Wednesday challenge over on SNR's Card Universe! Our challenge is a sketch, designed by Whimsy's very own DT member Jeanette. She created this sketch for a different challenge a while back and I just loved it and had to use it again! Thanks Jeanette!
So, the challenge is to create a card or scrap book page using this sketch and then post your creation on the discussion forum on SNR's Card Universe. I do believe you'll need to be a member on Card Universe to play along, but membership is free!
You will have until 11:59pm on Wednesday, March 25th to enter. I will draw one winner at random on Thursday, March 26th. That winner will receive our new Kids Collections stamps, Rainy Day Emma and Baseball Connor!
This is the card I made using this fabulous sketch! I used my new Rainy Day Emma stamp as the main image and worked in some BasicGrey papers and SU! cardstock. The embellishments are flower brads also available from SU!. The image was colored with Copics.
Thanks for stopping by today, hope you'll find some time to join us in this fun sketch challenge! Have a great day and happy stamping!! :)

Easter Bunny
Morning All!
It's been a busy day here and it's only 10am. I hope your day is off to a great start! Before I continue on my busy day of tasks, I wanted to make a quick post to share a card I made over the weekend.
I found a great layout on Ellie's blog, she's actually holding a design team call right now for her new line of digi-stamps! I'm not entering her call, but wanted to mention it for her. Plus, I loved the sketch!
I used my Whimsy Bunny and Snowman stamp, minus the Snowman, and colored him with Copics. The papers are SU! Sale-a-Bration. I love the soft pastel colors, they are perfect for Spring cards or in this case Easter. The flowers are Primas and the buttons, twine, and brads are all SU!.
Thanks for "hopping" over today, hope you have a great Tuesday! Happy Stamping! :)

Image Swap - Final Update
Good Evening!
This is a message for all the wonderful ladies who participated in my image swap. I didn't receive any new swaps today, so I went ahead and swapped and plan to mail back to you all tomorrow. Thank you to all who played along, it was fun and I hope you enjoy the images you receive back! Happy coloring!
A couple notes:
*After swapping, I re-swapped within groups to make sure that no one gets back the images they sent for the swap. We all know we can stamp our own images again whenever we want! :)
*Group two was lacking a few swappers in the end, not sure what happened there. So myself and Erin B. stamped extra images to make up for those missing swaps. Everyone will be getting back at least 10 images. Sorry that they may be different than what was originally listed for that group.
*Group 1 and 4 had two swaps reported in the mail, but I didn't want to wait any longer than today. If I receive those swaps, I will personally swap with those girls so they don't miss out. Sorry they didn't arrived in time.
*Group 3 was complete, you will all receive what was listed on the swap for images. :)
*All swaps are going in the mail tomorrow, unless we have spoken and are working out postage.
Thanks again ladies! It was a pleasure swapping with you! :)

A RAK and My Thank You
Morning All!
Hope you're weekend is going well. It's been very nice here, warm even. We got to play outside all afternoon with the kids yesterday and hopefully will be able to again today. Such a welcome change from what we've been having for weather these last few months. I'm very much looking forward to Spring! We also changed the clocks last night so now it'll still be light out at 7pm!
I recently received a beautiful RAK from my friend and fellow DT member Deb. She made me this gorgeous card and hidden inside was a fabulous surprise, a new Sugar Nellie stamp. How sweet is she! :)
This gift arrived last week on a day that wasn't going so well for me, and so it was a wonderful surprise! I love it Deb, thank you again! The papers and accents are fabulous and I love the little sentiment with the Whimsy Owl, so cute! Deb created a beautiful inside as well, but that had my personal message, so I didn't photograph it.
Well, new rubber always needs to be inked up so I wasted no time and created this card with my new Sugar Nellie. I found these papers at Target and already had Prima's to match. The image has been colored with Copics and highlighted with white gel pen accents.
The cardstock is all SU! and the colors are Wasabi, Pomegranate, and Tangerine. The layout is from the sketch on this week's Sketch Saturday challenge. I also added white gel pen to create some faux stitching. The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps. The final accents are some hodgepodge hardware pieces. Deb, this one's for you, thank you so much! :)
Thanks for stopping by, have a wonderful Sunday! Happy Stamping! :)

Favorite Somethings
Good Morning, happy Friday!
FRIDAY!!! I'm so happy this week is over and the weekend is here! It's been a long and busy week and I'm looking forward to some relaxing with the family. Hope you have something great planned!
We have a new challenge for you over on STAMP SOMETHING. This week we want you to create a project inspired by your "Favorite Something or Somethings." It could be something inspired by your favorite music, place, food, etc. or something that uses your favorite stamps, colors, papers, etc. Have fun with this one and show us your favs!
This is my birthday themed card created using a few of my favorite stamping supplies. First, is the use of Copics, my favorite coloring product. I received this cute Whiff of Joy image from Marcea. I thought he would be perfect for this challenge since Whiff of Joy is the sponsor this week. That's right, you could be the lucky winner of a new Whiff of Joy, Willow with Flower Basket stamp!
Next, I used my favorite papers, BasicGrey Urban Prairie. I think they are fun and pretty at the same time. I also used my favorite Prima flowers and SU! buttons! I think that covers all my favorites! Some other embellishments were ribbon, crystal effects and glitter, and stitching with the sewing machine.
Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you have a fabulous weekend! Be sure to hop over to STAMP SOMETHING and check out the rest of the design team's favorite somethings! Happy Stamping!! :)

Image Swap Update
Afternoon!
I just wanted to give a quick update on the image swap. We're still missing a few and some are in the mail on their way. I've already received today's mail and made updates to the list.
I have decided that I will be waiting until Friday to swap and then mail out first thing on Saturday. Hopefully, this will allow for more swaps to show up and be included. If I do not receive your images by Friday, March 6th, I will return them to sender if they arrive beyond that date. Thanks for understanding.
Hope to get the last few in the next couple days! Thanks again to all who participated! The groups are listed below! :)
EDIT on Firday 3/6:
I've been contacted by 5 people who put their swaps in the mail last week and they still have yet to arrive. Not sure what's going on with the mail, but this sounds like it's not the fault of the swappers, so I would like to wait a couple more days to see if any of the "missing in action swaps" do arrive.
I would hate to swap, mail back, and have the others arrive a day or two later. Plus, if we wait, we will have received just about all the images for the swap. I hope everyone is OK with this decision to wait. I promise to have them in the mail by Tuesday (3/10/09) next week so we are only a week over due. Thanks for understanding.

One Sketch, Two Interpretations
Hi All, Happy Tuesday!
Hope your day is off to a great start! My son is back at school, the house is some what clean, the laundry is done, and my daughter and I are playing together. Things are getting back to normal. I loved having my son home from school, but the out of whack routine was getting the best of me. Now that things are a bit more on track, I had a few minutes to do some stamping this morning too.
While blog hopping earlier I saw a great sketch on Mojo Monday and thought it would make the perfect spring board to get me started. I actually used it to make two very different cards. And the sketch is interpreted in different ways with each card.
On this card, I used the ribbon as a layer and increased the size of the layout to accommodate the image. I received this sweet Whiff of Joy image from Michele, thanks hun! I love her! She was fun to color too. And I of course colored her with Copics. The papers are BasicGrey and SU!. I embellished with felt flowers, brads, and sticky gems. I think I might have gone a little sticky gem crazy, but you can never have too much bling right! :)
This second card uses the stamp set Thoughts and Prayers from SU!, it's a new set in the current catalog. I used some paper I got on a recent shopping trip, not sure who makes it though. The cardstock is Riding Hood Red from SU! and I added some Moss Taffeta ribbon. It's a very simple card, different from what I usually make.
OK then, I'm off to make lunch. Thanks for the sweet comments about the new look of my blog. I just wanted to toot Debs horn a bit as she did a fantastic job! My favorite part is the blinking froggie!
Enjoy the rest of your Tuesday! Happy Stamping! :)
PTW Hot Chocolate Challenge
HI again!
It's been a very busy day here. But, I did manage to squeeze in some stamping. And now I have a card to share which I create for the new Paper Take Weekly challenge. The challenge this week is Hot Chocolate! It's a color challenge. Pink and Orange are the "hot" and Brown is the "chocolate." I've never used these colors before so I thought this would be a fun challenge to try!
Here's my card using this cute bunny image from my friend Marcea! Thanks sweetie, love all the images you sent my way! He's been colored with Copics. I used some Me and My Big Ideas paper which is kind of funky but pretty too. The die cut flower is from the same line. The cardstock colors are Pink Pirouette, Tangerine Tango, and Chocolate Chip. I also embossed the Tangerine piece. The final touch was to add the orange and pink rhinestone brads and some pink ribbons.
Thanks for hopping on over today, hope you're having a great Monday! Hope to be back tomorrow with more challenge cards. Happy Stamping! :)

New Whimsy Stamps Designers
Good Afternoon All!
Thank you so much for the overwhelming response to our Whimsy Stamps design team call. We had entries from all around the globe posted here on my blog, on Splitcoast Stampers, Paper Craft Planet, and on the new SNR's Card Universe forums. Plus, I received quite a few email entries as well! We truly appreciate each of these artists and their entries. We know you put a great deal of thought and time into your cards and scrap pages and so we thank you!
There were so many wonderful and outstanding creations, it was an extremely difficult decision to choose our new member. Please do not be discouraged if you were not chosen this time. Please know it is not a reflection of your ability or creativity.
Our selections, yes that's right selections are Camilla Giske and Vicki Parson!
Both of these ladies created fabulous cards using animal images. Their styles are unique and beautiful. We feel they will be able to showcase our stamps in fun, fresh, and creative ways. We are thrilled to have them both! Welcome to the team ladies!
Because we were so impressed with the entries, we have decided to ask some of the artists to appear as our monthly guest designers! We will post a new guest designer each month and she will work along side the full time design team in creating art with our Whimsy Stamps Collections. If you did not make the full time design team, you may still receive an email from me over the next day or two asking you to take a spot on our monthly guest designer rotation.
We have chosen our first three guest designers for March, April, and May....
Debbie Eastman, Jana Mays, and Dominique Hornberger. Debbie will be joining us in March, Jana in April, and Dominique in May. Stay tuned for more guest designer updates!
Thanks again to all who entered and congrats to Camilla and Vicki!

Lace and Pearls
Hi All, happy Sunday!
We're having yet another snowstorm today that they say will last well into tomorrow as well. Perfect stamping weather! So, that's what I did this afternoon! Hope you're doing something fun too!
Here's a card for the Magnolia vs. Stampavie challenge which was to create a card using lace and pearls. You must also use a Magnolia or Stampavie image. I only have a couple Magnolias so I went with this cute Tilda holding a present and made a birthday card. I colored her with Copics and added some white gel pen highlights and glitter to her wings, which was giving me trouble and is now looking kind of messy.
I used some Parisian Breeze DSP from SU! and the cardstock colors are Kraft, Chocolate Chip, and Baja Breeze. I didn't have any lace so I created a lace edge with my eyelet punch from SU! and used some lacy-ish ribbon. The flowers are Prima with pearl centers and I adhered more pearls around the image. The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps.
Thanks for stopping by, enjoy what's left of your weekend! Happy Stamping!
Image Swap:
I've been updating the image swap list daily as new swaps arrive, please be sure you have your swaps to me by tomorrow. If you have mailed them already as of today, but they are not listed as received yet, email me and I'll try to wait for them. I have received quite a few, but we are still missing some. I do want to swap these and get them back in the mail on Wednesday the 4th. To see the swap info, click HERE.
