Hope you're having a fabulous Monday. It's rainy again here, perfect weather for stamping!
I made a card this afternoon for the challenges at Magnolia v Stampavie and Sketch and Stash. The sketch from Sketch and Stash worked perfectly with the color challenge at MvS, so why not get a two for one!
I started with some Riding Hood Red and Basic Black cardstock, then layered on some Marrakech BasicGrey patterned paper in reds. The image is one I received in a swap and it's been colored with Copics then cut out and placed on the grosgrain ribbon layers. I added some self adhesive gems in a swirl pattern and some Pretties Kit flowers and brads. Red and black are a bit different for me color wise, but it was fun to use such a bold palette.I also wanted to share that the Whimsy Stamps Design Team will be holding a blog hop on Sunday April 5th.
