For my Blog Hop Creation I used the new digital image Monty Haul.

I've kept this on the more clean and simple style to fit a masculine card. The image was colored with copics and then paired with some BG Oliver papers. I tried to color Monty's suit coat to match these papers. I've embellished with twine, buttons, brads, and a sentiment from the Party Mini Letter Seals available at Whimsy Stamps.

Whimsy Sneak Peek and Circles

Happy Friday,

Hope you've had a great week! I've been busy getting ready for our new Whimsy Stamps rubber release which will be on Wednesday the 13th - next week! We have lots of fabulous new stamps and sentiments sets for you and today starts the previews! You can visit various DT member blogs to get sneak peeks at all the new sentiments today. Stamp Something

Today is also new challenge day over at Stamp Something and our sponsor just so happens to be KennyK! So I've used one of our new KennyK rubber stamps, Cheers Dude, on my card to give a sneak peek a little bit early! And I've also used one of our new Party Mini Letter Seal Sentiments too!

Our challenge at Stamp Something is Sassy or Circles or Sassy Circles. I opted for circles and have used paper with circles on it and then created lots of circles with my nestabilities. These papers are MME Fine and Dandy. The image was colored with copics and then I added some circle eyelets to the corners and did some paper piercing along the edges. I've embellished with twine and a button and then a cut out nestie circle of our Party Mini Seal - Cheers to You!

Whimsy Stamps - Strong Island

Happy Sunday!

Welcome to the second day of Whimsy Stamps sneak peeks at our new March rubber stamp release! Today we are sharing peeks at the 4 new KennyK stamps releasing on Wednesday, March 16th. The DT girls have created some amazing cards, hop on over to the Whimsy Blog for a list of all the sneaks for today!

Strong Island

My peek today is using the stamp "Strong Island" from the latest KennyK Glam Gang images! I love these fun and sassy designs. So many possibilities for cards and scrap book pages.

I colored this image with Copics and then added some paper piercing along the edges of the image. The papers are BG Wander which have a city/street/urban sort of feel to them. I've embellished with satin ribbon and some new tickets from the Treasured Moments Ticket set designed by Ann Vento and then cut them with the Shapeology Ticket Die. Then added a couple metal tabs for a pop of color and an altered chipboard piece with a crackle finish.

Girls Rule

Morning!

I need to make this a quick post as I am already behind today and the day has only just begun. I hope you have a fabulous Thursday!

Last week Whimsy released 4 more KennyK rubber stamps and so last night I had a play with "Star"! I just love her! And the potential for fun with these images is endless! I love coloring these images, but I still need some practice, especially with black. What are your favorite Copic colors for achieving a well shaded black?

I went with pink and black for this card because of the designer papers and because it was fun to color hair in a color other than the usual brunette or blonde. The image was colored with Copics to match the papers. I've embellished with eyelet and ribbon lacing, flowers, gems and pearls, and a ticket sentiment from Ann's digital set "Wild Side Tickets" from Whimsy Stamps.

Whimsy New Release - KennyK Collection

Hello and Happy Thursday!

Whimsy Stamps has some excitiing news to share with you today - we have a new rubber artist joining our team.... KENNY KIERNAN!

As many of you will know, KennyK is currently a digital stamp artist (amongst many other things) and although Whimsy will not be carrying any KennyK digis, we are making some of Kenny's existing designs into rubber and then hopefully adding some new designs along the line that will be exclusive to the Whimsy rubber collection!

So to celebrate this wonderful new venture, the Whimsy Stamps DT plus our fab special Whimsy guests Elaine Hughes, Deb, and Janna, are holding a BLOG HOP to showcase the EIGHT images that are being made into rubber:

Now on to my creations for this hop using the new KennyK stamps! 

I have created two cards for the hop today, one using "Troublemaker" and the other using "All That". First up is Troublemaker....

I think she's one of my favorite image from this new release. I just love her pretty eyes and playful smile. I've colored the image with Copics. The papers are Bo Bunny, but I forget which collection name they come from. I've distressed the edges with scissors and then embellished with brads, ribbons, flowers, and a tag sentiment from Ann's Fast Lane set.

Next up is my card using "All That"...isn't she fun! She's so sassy and cool!

I've used some BG Olivia papers on this card with black card stock to make it all pop! The image was colored with Copics. I've embellished simply with ribbon and a gemstone charm.
