Whimsy Stamps July Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Whimsy Stamps July rubber release BLOG HOP!

The Whimsy July rubber release happened last week on July 13th, but today we are hosting our blog hop to showcase the 9 fabulous new rubber stamps and 2 new Shapeology metal dies now available at Whimsy Stamps! For my card today, I have used the new stamp set A Touch of Elegance along with the new Dress Form Die and then also the Elegant Flourishes Die set. Each of these products were designed by Ann Vento of Raindrop Echo Designs.

As you can see I went for a more vintage feel on this card to fit the style of the images. I've used some Pink Paislee Papers and stitched the edges on the sewing machine. The images were all stamped with brown ink - no Copics used on this one! I've embellished with flowers, ribbon, a hat pin, the dress die, and then some flourish accents using the Elegant Flourishes Die set.

For my Blog Hop Creation I used the new digital image Monty Haul.

I've kept this on the more clean and simple style to fit a masculine card. The image was colored with copics and then paired with some BG Oliver papers. I tried to color Monty's suit coat to match these papers. I've embellished with twine, buttons, brads, and a sentiment from the Party Mini Letter Seals available at Whimsy Stamps.
