Sorry I've been MIA lately. Things have been very busy at our house. Catching up after vacation, doing house work and laundry, running errands, etc...I feel like I haven't stamped in forever! I did make some time today though.
I found the sketch on Cupcake Craft Challenge and paired it with the theme of Shabby/Vintage over at Stamp with Fun. And this is the outcome...
I received this beautiful image from my good friend Marcea. We traded images a little while back and this was just one of many I received from her. Thank you Marcea! :)I colored the image with Copics and highlighted with a white gel pen. Her wings have been dusted with Elmer's glitter glue.
The papers are all SU! including the new Parisian Breeze DSP. I just love this paper, it's not only beautiful but it's also textured! To create the shabby chic details, I distressed the paper edges, made some tears, and then stitched it to another piece of DSP which was also distressed. The accents are a Taffeta and lace ribbons and Prima flowers paired with felt flowers and paper roses. I got the pretty vintage frame at a scrapbook convention this past weekend.
