I'm gearing up for a visit with a friend today, but before she arrives I wanted to make a quick post to share a card I made using the sketch from Sketch Saturday. It was a fun sketch that I think I will be using again.
I received these sweet Gorjuss Girl images from my friend Marcea and have been waiting for the right time to use them. I think this sketch was perfect to use both together. I colored them with Copics in coordinating colors. Then used some BasicGrey Bittersweet papers to make the card. I think this sketch layout really makes the images the focal point, no need for many embellishments. I tried to add some flowers because well every card needs flowers, right! But they just didn't look good anywhere, so I left it alone. The simple embellishments are grosgrain and stitched ribbon from Stampin' Up! and some dew drop beads. The sentiment is also SU! from the set Short and Sweet.Thanks for popping over today, enjoy your day! I'm off now, but hope to be back again tomorrow. Until then, happy stamping! :)
