Welcome to the Whimsy Stamps Magical Mythical Tour blog hop to showcase the new release stamps! I hope you're enjoying the tour so far. The design team members have created lots of fun eye candy for you today and we have some prize chances along the hop as well!
If you are joining me from Sue's blog, you're in the right place. If you've just stumbled upon our little Magical Mythical Tour, you'll want to hop on over to Simonne's blog for the start of the hop!
My card features the new fairy stamp "Pretty Peartunia" from the Mythical Collection designed by Katie Sowa. She's a rather unique fairy with lots of special qualities! I just love her big ole grin, bet ya thought I was going to say something else...LOL! She's a fun gal, perfect for any occasion.
I've used her on this easel card with the sentiment "best wishes" from our new Oval Snippets Set designed by Raindrop Echo Designs. These new sentiments work great with EK Success oval punches and some of the Nestabilities sets as well. I've used the large oval punch and scalloped oval punch to frame my sentiment.
I had lots of fun coloring this image. All the new images are fun to color actually, quick and easy too! I've used Copics and then stickles on the wings. The papers are BasicGrey Eva with distressed edges. The base of the easel card is chocolate chip card stock and then I also used razzleberry and pink card stock layers. I've embellished with Prima flowers and aster daisies, lace and satin ribbon, and a mushroom charm.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today, the next stop on the hop is Deb's blog! You won't want to miss what she has in store!
Be sure to complete the hop and stop at the Whimsy Stamps home page for a chance to win our Magical Mythical Tour blog candy! And we have an extra special candy chance for you on our new Whimsy Inspirations Blog...head on over for details!
