Happy Friday All!
Today is a new challenge over at Stamp Something as well as the start of our month long birthday celebration! Stamp Something is celebrating our 100th challenge this week and then this month the blog is turning 2 years old! We have lots of fun things planned including a blog hop and special prizes all month too! We hope you'll join in the fun and stamp something with us!
Our challenge theme this week is birthday somethings. You can create anything birthday related but please make sure it's something NEW, no back linking. Our sponsor this week is Whiff of Joy and the winner of the challenge will get to choose a new stamp from the Get Well Collection.
I've used the sketch from the Whiff of Joy challenge this week and some new SEI papers on my card. I've stitched the edges on the sewing machine. The image was colored with Copics and then framed with oval nesties. I've embellished with gardenias and roses, some ribbons, and sticky pearls.
Next, I have my Just Magnolia card to share with you. This week's challenge is a fun one! We're calling it "It Takes Two," because we'd like to see you use 2 Magnolia images on your creation, not including sentiments/text stamps. Have fun with this, the possibilities are endless! This challenge is also our special monthly challenge which means it's being sponsored by Simon Says Stamp!
I've used two of the new fairytale images on my card. Midsummer Tilda and the Prince Phillip frog. The layout is from the challenge at Magnolia Down Under and I've used some Wild Asparagus papers. The edges have been distressed and then I added some Stickles. I've embellished with a swirl of pearls, a gardenia, and some aster flowers and more Stickles.
Thanks for dropping by today! I hope you have a wonderful weekend. And Happy Mother's Day to all those who will be celebrating this Sunday!
Happy Stamping,
