Some Superbowl Stampin'

Happy Superbowl Sunday!

I'll first start out by saying, GO PATS!

Ok, this is a card I made for the weekend sketch challenge on Beate's blog. I've been wanting to make something new and fresh, so this challenge was the perfect inspiration. I love that the sketch used a longer card rather than the typical size. It's a fun layout too!

I used some Bali Breeze DSP as my main color focus. These colors are bright and bold, a perfect pairing with the stamp set Zoofari. I love this set, but never think to use it. It's really super cute. I like the black accent, really gives the colors a little more punch. I think if I had it to do over again, I would add the black behind the green and turquoise papers too. For final touches I added some paper piercing and the silver brads. The animals are colored using watercolor pencils and an aquapainter. I love these pencils!

Hope you get the chance to give this challenge a try and thanks to Beate for posting another super sketch! Happy Stamping!:)

Recipe: Stamps: Zoofari, Celebrate You Cardstock: Black, White, Bali Breeze DSP Ink: Black, watercolor pencils Accessories: 1/2" circle punch, 1/4" circle punch, oval punch, ribbon, silver brads, paper piercer, aquapainter.
