Hope your Thursday is going well. I can't believe the morning is already gone! I have been so busy, I didn't even realize the time until now. At least we're that much closer to the weekend!
I made a card today with the challenges from Whiff of Joy and Cute Card Thursday. Whiff of Joy was a sketch by Katharina and CCT was a color combo to use Pinks and Browns. Two perfect challenges to combine!
I started with some Chocolate Chip SU! cardstock and some Porcelain BasicGrey paper. I made this card using the sketch then added a lot of paper piercing. It's hard to see on the dark paper, but I pierced around each square of paper. I added some Pretty in Pink cardstock punched with the eyelet border punch and paper pierced along the top. The ribbon is some wide grosgrain Chocolate with a crocheted flower and pearl.The image is Willow with Hot Cocoa, one I received from a swap, and she's been colored with Copics. Not the most Spring time feeling image, but it hasn't been very Springy here all week!
The final details were to pierce each scallop on the image piece and add some pearls to the top left corner. I forgot to add a sentiment to this one, guess it will work for any occasion now!
