Hope everyone is having a good week so far. Things have been busy here, but I finally had some time to stamp! I also wanted to thank those of you who participated in our first Whimsy Blog Hop. I thought that the DT did a fabulous job, the creations were all spectacular! I hope you enjoyed hopping as much as I did! I made a card today with the sketch from Sketch Saturday and the color combo challenge from Cute Card Thursday, which was citrus colors. I love being able to participate in all the fun challenges and it's a bonus when it works out that I can combine them too.
I started this card with some Groovy Guava cardstock and layered on some BasicGrey Gypsy papers. The images are ones I received in a swap. They've been colored with Copics and highlighted with a white gel pen. I then cut them out and mounted them to a piece of Pretty in Pink cardstock that was embossed with the Paisley folder and CB. The final touches were to use the SU! eyelet punch to create the lace border on the Barely Banana cardstock. Then I layered on more Gypsy paper with some lace ribbon and Prima flowers. I added a rhinestone brad for the center of the flower and dew drops to the top of the card along side the image.Thanks for stopping on by!
