New Image Fun

There's a fun new challenge blog called Cute Card Thursday. Every Thursday they post a challenge theme and you make a cute card that works with the theme. This blog has only been up for a couple weeks now, but I've seen some really cute cards out there. I've wanted to take the challenge myself, but haven't had a lot of time. So today, I made some time.

I've decided that Thursday's are going to be my day to make and post cards that use some non Stampin' Up! images. I've received so many awesome RAKs filled with stamped images and I want to put them to good use. I'll still stay true to my Stampin' Up! colors and accessories and maybe even throw in a few images too, but I want to make the main focus a different image.

Here's the card I made for Cute Card Thursday. I made it for last week's New Beginnings Theme and went to post a comment and the new theme for this week is All Creatures Great and Small. So, I guess my card actually works for both weeks! Yay!

This image was one I received from Katie. He's the cutest little turtle! I went with a baby theme and used my Stampin' Up! wheels for the backgrounds and the tag is from Bundled in Love. The colors are Certainly Celery, Bashful Blue, and Barely Banana. I added some Bashful grosgrain ribbon for an accent accessory.
