Good Morning!
Welcome to the start of the first ever
Whimsy Stamps Blog Hop! I hope you'll join the fun and visit all the Whimsy Stamps Design Team blogs and check out the creative projects using Whimsy Stamps images along with some punches and dies!
My blog is the start of this fun hop! After visiting here, you will need to go to Design Team member
Vicki's blog and from her blog you'll find the next stop on the hop!
Now I apologize for the length of this post, but I do need to mention all the fun stuff and the blog hop rules! Please bear with me....
Be sure to visit all the blogs on the hop and leave each DT member some love in the form of comments on their posts! On
Wednesday, April 8th, I will choose 3 Design Team members to choose 1 random winner from the post comments on their creations to give away some mystery blog candy! No one knows who the DT members will be or what the candy will be, not even the Whimsy Design Team. So be sure to stop at all the blogs on the hop and leave a comment on their hop creation posts!
When you reach the end of this blog hop, you will also find a chance to win the grand prize blog candy! I will choose one winner at random on
Wednesday afternoon, April 8th, to win the grand prize. All of these candy chances will be open to all readers, from all over the globe and the chances will close at
Noon EST on April 8th! So that's one grand prize chance at the end of the hop and 3 other blog candy chances through out the hop to win! Fun, right!
Now on to my creation! I used the new
Whimsy Mother Goose and Babies for the image on this card. It's been colored with Copics and cut with Circle Nestabilities. The cardstock is all SU!, in the colors Bashful Blue, Barely Banana, and White. The designer paper is also SU! and is from some old DSP packs and the new Sale-a-Bration DSP.

For punches on this card I used the SU! eyelet border punch, the three flower punch, 1/4" circle punch for the center of the small flowers, the ticket corner punch, and the scalloped circle punch to create the big flowers. The centers on the big flowers are fabric roses. I added grosgrain ribbon and stitching along with some brads and metal accents to finish off this card. Having the challenge to use punches really made me take out some things I haven't used in quite a long time!
Thanks for stopping by my blog, I hope you'll continue along the hop and visit
Vicki's blog! See you at the end of the hop! Have fun!!
