Weekend Sketch Challenge - All Cracked Up

Here's my card for the weekend sketch challenge on Beate's blog, Fresh and Fun. This layout was great to work with. I was excited to be able to use some DSP for the background layer.

The papers I chose are from the hostess paper pack in the Spring/Summer Collection Catalog. The colors are Certainly Celery, Almost Amethyst, Bashful Blue, Pretty in Pink, and Apricot Appeal with Whisper White for the neutral. The stamp set is A Good Egg, so cute and fun to use. I used some paper piercing to add detail to the background. I cut the main image on a zig-zag to imitate the cracked egg on the stamp. The final accents are a photo corner with brads, crystal effects on the egg, and the oval punch for the sentiment.

Hope everyone had a nice weekend. Check out Beate's blog for more great sketch layouts! Happy Stamping! :)
